This Cultural Memory Bank is a living, multimedia resource for documenting and sharing stories of our local seeds, growers, and food communities in the Portland, OR metro area.

Goals:

• To share diverse and respectful ways of working with seeds.

• To build value and appreciation for our local seeds and seed keepers.

• To continue the work of attribution and ethical stewardship of seeds by emphasizing known histories and cultural connections.

• To empower local seed keepers as leaders in their food communities, especially BIPOC and diaspora growers.
